Give Back at the Library

Want to give back to your community and make a difference? Volunteering at Crooked Valley is a rewarding way to support literacy, education, and access to information. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for both teens and adults to help make our library a vibrant and welcoming space for everyone.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Readers: Share your love of books with children, seniors, or adults by volunteering to read aloud at storytimes, book clubs, or special events.
  • Shelvers: Help keep our library organized by shelving books, DVDs, and other materials, ensuring that everything is easy to find for our patrons.
  • Program Assistants: Assist with library programs and events, from hands-on activities to tech workshops, helping to create engaging and fun experiences for library visitors.
  • Outreach Assistants: Support our outreach efforts by helping with community events, library promotions, and assisting with book deliveries or mobile library services.

Whether you’re a teen looking for service hours or an adult wanting to give back, there’s a volunteer role for you! Sign up today to get involved and help make a positive impact in our library and community.
